Today I was honored to attend the 14th Annual Women’s Philanthropy Fund breakfast. Collectively, we raised $400,000 to support impoverished children and families in Orange County. It saddens me that in this wealthy county, we have such a large constituency of underprivileged. I am grateful to JoAnn Albers and Loreen Gilbert, Event Co-Chairs, for helping us to serve the children, mothers and fathers in need. As Ms. Leigh Anne Tuohy said today, “Every person can make a difference.”
