Integrated   Logistics   Support

Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) is an integrated and iterative process for developing materiel and a support strategy that optimizes functional support, leverages existing resources, and guides the system engineering process to quantify and lower life cycle cost and decrease the logistics footprint (demand for logistics), making the system easier to support.


API provides customized ILS solutions to support any type of software, hardware or equipment environment for the Government or Commercial industries. API solutions include Training and Training Support, Technical Data & Publications, Help Desk, Procurement and Spare Parts Replacement, and Computer Resources Support. We have application-specific experience with Design Interface, Programming and Technical Personnel, Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation, and Reliability Engineering. API also has experience in warehouse planning and Lean Process logistics engineering.


API products are used in the United States, Italy, Germany, and the UK. API provides Help Desk support for its COTS products to its commercial customers around the world.


API uses an internally developed system of Lean Engineering (Practical Lean™) to help its customers analyze and streamline their logistics processes, and reduce costs throughout the supply chain while improving effectiveness of the user.


API provides Life Cycle Logistics studies to analyze and recommend optimal logistics flow patterns and solutions (Value Chain Roadmap™), to minimize logistics and help desk cost, as well as supportability analyses to determine solutions to meet performance specifications throughout the product lifeycle. API develops supply chain and logistics software solutions to support the product distribution process. For example, Value Chain Communicate™, an encryption technology that transmits logistics and ordering data between trading partners to optimize the supply chain process.
